Character Information
Character Name: Blurr
Fandom: Transformers Animated

Character History: Blurr is one of those guys that shows up for a few episodes and then gets knocked off and isn't even important enough to get much by way of back story. He didn't even have any speaking lines in the first episode he showed up in, he spent the entire time in his vehicle mode being remotely controlled into racing in a guy called Master Disaster's street races. Why was Blurr even on Earth? How did some little human even get a hold of him? WE DON'T GET TO KNOW THAT YET. Blurr sucks and doesn't say anything, but it does show how dedicated he is to staying undercover I GUESS.

Oh also Bumblebee and little girl badass Sari totally saved Blurr from a life of racing for some guy when they showed up, discovered that the device Master Disaster had been using to control Blurr had an All Spark shard in it, and were able to free Blurr from it. Things exploded and there was a game of chicken that resulted in a Decepticon crashing into a building. Blurr does a drive by of the Autobot base, and then we don't see him for another load of episodes.

LATER ON when Blurr finally becomes relavent again, he's seen (STILL AS A CAR) picking up a transmission between Megatron and a super secret mystery double agent of his called Shockwave, who has infiltrated the Autobot ranks IN DISGUISE. ooooo Such a mystery. Anyway the topic of discussion is basically "oh man you know that moron Autobot Bulkhead? Turns out he's a super genius when it comes to building SPACE BRIDGES" which are like teleportals or something. They BRIDGE you through SPACE. Whatever so Megatron wants to kidnap Bulkhead, and Blurr speeds off to stop this shit because Decepticons having a space bridge is Bad News Bears.

Blurr shows up to stop Megatron from being SO EVIL, but Bumblebee, being a moron, assumes that Blurr is a Decepticon and totally interferes with the whole rescue operation thing. Oh and Megatron gets away with Bulkhead. Good job Bumblebee. Blurr finally transforms into his robot mode and gives Bee the fastest verbal smack down ever, finally explains that he's there to stop what just happened FROM HAPPENING and TL;DRs about his mission and how he's with the elite guard and he's an intelligence agent and stuff. All in just a few seconds. Bee is normal and thus is unable to follow any fucking thing Blurr just said. Blurr and Bee get back to radical Autobot HQ and Blurr shares all that fun info with Optimus and friends, and then an AMAZING PLAN is formed to go get Bulkhead back. Oh and Sari's dad too because he also was kidnapped by Megatron.

Blurr leads the nerd squad to Megatron's base and then there's a few fight scenes and Blurr ends up stuck in cement with two Starscream clones, and the three of them get teleported to some random ass place in the galaxy because they ended up in the space bridge. Life sucks for Blurr but hey everything turned out ok back on Earth. Good for Earth.

Thanks to Blurr's clever braining and the Starscream clones somehow not being useless, he and the clones were able to break out of the cement, and thanks to the fact that he is absurdly fast he was able to not only escape from the Starscream clones, but literally run his ass through space back to Cybertron. PHYSICS. I'd like to thank Sir Isaac Newton for making this bullshit possible.

Upon reaching (and subsequently faceplanting into) Cybertron, Blurr has somehow managed to rocket himself directly to the exact location of his boss, Longarm Prime. HOW DID HE KNOW. Cartoon magic. He jumps up and very quickly rambles off a bunch of shit, most notably he mentions that transmission he'd intercepted earlier, the one between Megatron and the double agent Shockwave, and mentions that all he has to do is analyze the voice sample he has and WHAM BAM the double agent is in the VAN.

Well turns out Longarm Prime is totally Shockwaveand he is none too happy to hear about this. He attacks Blurr, who runs into a building to escape because holy shit Shockwave is a giant tank with huge guns. Knowing he won't be able to actually catch Blurr, Shockwave instead traps him inside the building by remotely closing doors on him. Finally he catches Blurr in a hallway, which closes in on him like some kind of fucked up Indiana Jones trap and THAT'S IT. Blurr is squished into a cube and that's the last we see of Blurr. Apparently he actually survived that but in the show the last thing we see is Longarm handing off the Blurrcube to some other guy and asking him to dispose of it. THE END.

Character Personality: Naturally a dude named Blurr is going to be fast as crap. SURE, he runs fast enough to be able to build up enough momentum to literally run across space (because that makes sense don't question cartoon logic), but he's also crazy quick in the whole thinking and problem solving department. Which is good for him, since he's a tiny little scrawny punk and isn't exactly built for fist fighting 50 foot Decepticon face punchers. He's more likely to try to outsmart his enemies and take advantage of his physical speed than to jump head first into a brawl, but he has been known to play the occasional game of chicken to fuck with Decepticons.

And hey since everything else about him is fast as hell, why not his mouth too? He talks absurdly fast, paragraphs of information rocketing out of his mouth at breakneck speeds when just a few words would be more than enough to convey his message. His long-winded word spewing is often accompanied by equally hyperactive body language, from pacing back and forth to dramatic arm movements to fiddling with something in his hands. Basically buddybot needs to lay off the robo-espresso because goddamn SON.

He tends to either forget or simply ignore the fact that other people ARE NORMAL and probably aren't likely to be able to keep up with him in conversation (or on the road. Or in basically any situation ever). He's asked to repeat himself so often, you'd think he'd learn to slow the shit down. But no, he just does things at his own pace and expects everyone else to keep up. He doesn't mean to be a dick, he just kind of is a little.

His confidence in himself borders a bit on arrogance; He's good at what he does and he knows it, but he isn't one to sit around bragging about how badass he is. Given his position and line of work, he knows that a lot is expected of him and he does everything within his power to get the job done. He seems to work best solo, probably related to the fact that he's too goddamn fast at everything. That doesn't mean he isn't perfectly capable of working within an established team if his missions call for it, though. When he had to work with Optimus Prime and his team, he adapted to it pretty quickly, but he usually prefers to be able to work at his own pace. He can come across as abrasive at first to people who aren't used to his Blurrness, especially if said people happen to interfere with his work. He can be a bit snippy about it and might hold a grudge against whoever threw off his mission for a little while, but he's generally pretty friendly over all.

Powers and Abilities:
Being a radical space robot, Blurr has the ability to transform into a vehicle. In his case it's a pointy blue car. As his name implies, he is faster than literal shit both in and out of vehicle mode, especially for someone with a ground based alt mode. He is also somehow able to talk at a million words per minute without getting completely tongue tied. This counts as an ability because I said so.

Seeing as he's an intelligence agent for the Cybertron Elite Guard, he's pretty damn good at information gathering and espionage.

Network:
[Why hello there everyone, you are presented with a pointy blue guy who looks ever so slightly confused by his current predicament. Namely being in a weird new place (and not smashed into a cube), BUT NEVER MIND THAT. As soon as he realizes he's recording, he proceeds to make mouth noises at like a million miles per second. Like so,]

Apologies for the interruption, assuming I'm actually interrupting anything. To be honest I'm not sure if this broadcast is even working but anyway I figured it couldn't hurt to run a quick check on my equipment. Unfortunately, it would appear that my communication equipment isn't quite working up to my expectations and it's range is pathetically limited at the moment, but it would appear that I'm still able to pick up Cybertronian signals in the area if they're within range. Idon'trecognizemostofthese...

Anyway ifit'snottoomuchtrouble would anyone mind filling me in a little on what this place is exactly, or why we're here or how we can leave? I would assume it's just a matter of hopping back through the gate butthatseemsmaybealittletooobvioustome and frankly if it takes me right back to where I just came from I'm not entirely sure if it would be a good idea to just dive back in. Anyway, thanks in advance. My name is Blurr, I can be reached on this frequency.

[And boom the feed ends. WELL THAT WAS QUICK.]

Third Person:
Under normal circumstances, Blurr could always rely on himself to be pretty flexible. He generally never had trouble adapting to a new problem or situation, and given his line of work, it was a really handy skill to have. Aside from the obvious benefits of his physical speed, his ability to quickly assess and adapt to pretty much anything was one of his most valuable talents. Something his superiors could always count on, and frankly it was something he'd come to regularly expect from himself as well.

Unfortunately, these really weren't normal circumstances by any means, and Blurr was having one hell of a time sorting his thoughts out. He usually wasn't one to dwell on something for too long, but he was having the hardest time shaking this. To say it was frustrating was one hell of an understatement. There was a lot on his mind, but the matter that should take priority was the fact that he'd somehow found himself somewhere he was positive he hadn't been just moments ago. Or had ever seen before, for that matter. That, and he was very much alone. Depending on how one looks at that, though, that might not be a bad thing.

Either way, top priority should be information gathering and getting the current predicament sorted out. As much as he would like to be able to just focus on the issue at hand, he couldn't keep his mind from wandering back to the events that transpired just prior to his arrival. Namely, being attacked by a trusted senior officer who, he'd realized far too late, had ended up being a Decepticon double agent. Not only that, but Blurr was positive that he should probably be kind of dead right now. That tended to happen when someone was crunched into a tiny cube, and Blurr wasn't exactly built to withstand that kind of pressure. So how the hell was he here? Had he been space bridged here somehow? It was unlikely at best, but the timing would have been kind of amazing considering where he'd just come from.

Frustrated with himself more than anything, he did his best to push it to the back of his mind. At least for the time being. He really needed to try to focus on the here and now, to find out where he was, how he got here, how he could get back to Cybertron. Or Earth. He didn't overly care too much at the moment. After giving himself another check over just in case, he did a few stretches before transforming into his alt mode and taking off, tearing ass down the first paved path he came across. It wasn't much, and he probably should be a little more cautious before just taking off at ludicrous speed, but learning the lay out of this place was at least at least a starting point. Maybe it would help him clear his head and set him on the right track.
